I’m here today at the National Cannabis Festival to talk to you and ideally say something inspirational about being a female in the canna-tech industry and how to get and keep more women in this space, but I need to start with a confession to you all. This is not a topic that I wanted to come here and present to you today, because I didn’t really feel like it was my place. It truthfully took me a while to realize that diversity in business was even a problem — I hadn’t really realized how much of an issue it even was until I became the only woman at cannabis investor events, the only woman in the meetings, and the only woman on the phone calls.
